Director - Composer
Kip Kaplan began his professional career as a performing singer/songwriter, which culminated in performing in the National Touring Company of "Hair" from 1974 to 1975. In 1979, he became the studio manager for Right Track Recording in New York. He subsequently created and operated Time Capsule Brokerage, an international audio production coordination company from 1981 to 1996. He chose to combine his years of experience in the theater, music, and post-production worlds, by founding Audioworks Producers Group in 1996.
Lona Benney Kaplan
Executive Vice-President - Account Services
Lona Benney Kaplan has been a media professional for her entire career. She learned the advertising industry at some of the top agencies in the U.S., located in NYC. Her advertising career culminated in her appointment as Director of Advertising for the prestigious Christie's Auction House, in NYC. After moving to Rockland County, NY, Lona became the Executive Director of the Rockland Youth Dance Ensemble, and Managing Director of Coupé Theatre Studio. She held those positions for more than 20 years. Though having always been a partner in Audioworks Producers Group since its' inception in 1996, Lona has recently joined the team in NYC to provide the highest possible level of client services.
Elysse Yulo is a Connecticut native now living in NYC. She graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut in 2012 with a B.A. in Theatre Studies. Elysse has produced many projects for Audioworks and for various theatre companies. When Elysse is not producing she is writing and recording music or performing as a guitarist in various musical groups. Elysse has been a member of the Audioworks team since 2013.
Senior Dubbing Director
Theresa Buchheister moved to New York from Kansas in 2004 to work for Richard Foreman at The Ontological Theatre. In 2006, she started her own theatre company, Title:Point (www.titlepoint.org), recently called "deeply strange" by TimeOut NY. Shortly after, she began directing audiobooks, primarily for Recorded Books (including How Music Works narrated by Andrew Garman, Leaving the Sea narrated by Brian Hutchison, The Perks of Being a Wallflower narrated by Noah Galvin). In 2014, she joined the world of cartoons, videogames, and dubbing. She has directed Pokemon, The Winx Club, World of Winx, Robocar Poli and more! She is also the founder of The Exponential Festival (www.theexponentialfestival.org) and, with Title:Point, runs Vital Joint, a performance space in Brooklyn (American Theatre Magazine dubbed it "the best murder basement in Brooklyn").
Senior Sound Designer & Mixer
RJulian Evans has come to chew bubblegum and design sound - and he’s all out of bubblegum. In his nascent career of just under a decade, he has provided sound design and mixing services on over a hundred independent shorts and features for the likes of Syfy, Refinery29, and Columbia University, and ads for clients including Hillary Clinton, Pepsi, Dropbox, and Instagram. His mixes have screened worldwide, including winners at renowned festivals such as Austin Film Festival, Florida Film Festival, Urbanworld, Slamdance, and Clermont-Ferrand. In lieu of any free-time, he also pursues a career as an off-Broadway sound designer with dozens of credits at houses such as Theatre Row, The York, 59e59, and La Mama.

Eben Mannes has been involved in professional audio production since graduating in 2012 from Michigan Technological University with a BA in sound design. Before joining Audioworks he was a freelance audio engineer in New York for two years and prior to that spent time working in Tampa, FL and Detroit, MI. He is passionate about the creation of high quality sound design for film and theater and everything in between.
Head Writer - Producer
David Wills began his voice acting career in 1998 with MTV Animation, where he provided celebrity impersonations for the program "MTV Celebrity Deathmatch". He has since lent his voice to numerous television and feature film projects, including "YuGiOh GX", "Viva Pinata", "GI Joe: Sigma Six" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". As a disc jockey, he has also hosted several music shows for SiriusXM radio, and has produced several pieces heard on NPR. Wills began writing for Audioworks in 2009 and became Head Writer the following year. He began directing sessions in 2012.
